This track was very interesting to make and something I had never done before. I created it by free styling on the Ableton push and it made me feel like I was in full control of the music and a real music producer.
This was my first track I ever made. It was the first time I was able to create music in my favorite genre of Hip-Hop. It is a fairly simple track I will always remember my first track I ever created especially since I feel it sounds very good.
This was my second track I ever made and it was a remix to the song "Rushing Back" By Flume (Feat. Vera Blue). This was a much more advanced track from my first since you had to take an already great song and make it your own. I also used things I learned from my first track to help me improve my work and apply it to this remix.
In this song I created a positive mood through a Hip-Hop type beat with a a lot of positive energy and a fast flow. I started by finding the tracks I felt sounded good and threw them into the mix. Next I moved the sounds around to jump in and out of the song accordingly to make it flow well. Finally I shifted the volumes and made the sounds pan a lot. The thing I learned most from this project was the endless amount of things you can do on Ableton to a single sound.
